DANIEL BLANDON
Daniel has +9 years of experience investing in startups in Colombia. He is managing partner at Simma Capital, an early stage VC fund. Prior to Simma, he worked for six years at Amber Capital, an international hedge fund.
Daniel holds bachelor’s degrees in economics and electrical engineering from Universidad de los Andes, a master’s degree in economics from Universidad de los Andes, and an MBA degree from Yale University. Daniel is a CFA charterholder.
CARLOS GUTIERREZ
Carlos has +10 years of experience investing and working in startups, from raising more than 1.5M USD for 3 startups, to working in a corporate venture capital and investing with his first fund INVX. Carlos has a 360º view with his experience as entrepreneur and investor. His education includes a Business degree from Universidad de los Andes and a masters in Digital Business Management from Universitat de Barcelona.
ANA ISABEL SIERRA
Ana Isabel is a Business Administrator and an International Negotiator from EAFIT University with a Master in Management of IE University. She has a solid background in foreign trade, negotiation, commercial management and coordination of logistics operations, with knowledge in functional areas such as marketing and international sales. Ana has +2 years of experience investing in startups in Colombia.
CAMILO OSPINA
Camilo is a Business Administrator from EAFIT University. He is a passionate and serial entrepreneur with +8 years of experience creating and managing his own companies. Camilo is Cofounder and manager at CH2, a real estate development company, focused on hospitality and residential projects. He is also cofounder of Soy Local, a Colombian hotel chain with hotels in Medellín, Bogotá and Cartagena.
MANUELA URIBE
Manuela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UPB and a Master’s degree in Architectural Design and an Urban Design Certificate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has +7 years of experience in architectural design and real estate development; as urban design consultant, she has advised ONG’s, public and academic organizations in Colombia, United States, Mexico, Chile and India, focusing on climate change adaptation, urban equity and sustainable mobility. Currently, she is Urban Projects Coordinator at ProBogotá Región.
